About Dr. Ahmad

Specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Ahmad (below) is currently co-director of ophthalmic plastic surgery at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary and also has a private practice in the western suburbs of Chicago.  In 2007 he was voted one of the best doctors in America by his fellow physicians.

Dr. Ahmad is a board certified ophthalmologist who did his residency at the W. K. Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan . After his residency he did a two year ophthalmic plastic surgery fellowship at the W. K. Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan (Kellogg Eye Center)

After his fellowship he was Director of Ophthalmic Plastic services at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois from 2000-2006. Dr. Ahmad has lectured extensively and has published articles on ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Ahmad is a member of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS).
